ZsONA MACO 2016 ANNOUNCES ITS “PROGRAM FOR THE PROMOTION OF COLLECTING"‏

ZsONA MACO 2016 ANNOUNCES ITS “PROGRAM FOR THE PROMOTION OF COLLECTING"

With the intention of promoting art collecting and strengthening ties between curators, artists, galleries and collectors, ZsONA MACO announces its “Program for the Pormotion of Collecting”, which highlights pieces sold under $5,000 USD for its fifth year in a row.

The program is the result of an initiative taken by the fair and participating galleries, in which the pieces are identified by a coloured sticker, with the aim of boosting internationally the number of collectors, through accesible prices. This is an effort that has had gradual, but positive results during the last editions of the fair.
The pieces that are part of this program will be present in all five sections of the fair: General, New Proposals, ZsONA MACO Sur,  Modern Art and ZsONA MACO Design; for the duration of the show, from February 3rd to 7th in the D room of Centro Banamex, Mexico City.

With 123 galleries from 25 countries, ZsONA MACO will be the most important meeting place for international collectors, in an area that, for the first time, will reach 13,000 m2, with restaurants and resting areas for visitors.

Tickets for sale online at: www.zsonamaco.com

The event is open for the general public.
