Es un lugar tan respetado con olas que van desde 20 a 40 pies, entonces es un monstruo donde puedes encontrar el mejor ride de tu vida, te puede ir de maravilla o te puede pasar lo peor. Y definitivamente este fue un swell grande, importante, un XXL. La verdad me sent\u00eda preparado gracias a mis ejercicios y entrenamientos, en casa haciendo cardio, yendo a remar y corriendo mucho. El viaje ocurri\u00f3 de un momento a otro, cuando me enter\u00e9 que ven\u00eda el swell ya no ten\u00eda mucho tiempo para ir a Teahupo\u2018o, y sab\u00eda que ten\u00eda que llegar una noche antes. Viajar as\u00ed no es algo muy recomendable para un swell tan grande y tan peligroso, pero yo sab\u00eda que era mi oportunidad, o iba o me lo perd\u00eda, entonces me la rif\u00e9 y me fui llegando a \u00faltima hora. Esa ola que tom\u00e9 es una de las m\u00e1s tenebrosas y temidas a nivel mundial cuando est\u00e1 gigante, porque uno sabe que si te caes todo puede pasar, pones tu vida al borde. Ah\u00ed han pasado tragedias y accidentes y algunos surfistas han perdido la vida. El lugar es incre\u00edble pero al mismo tiempo es respetado. Solamente los surfistas de alto rango con mucha decisi\u00f3n lo hacen, pero siempre fue mi sue\u00f1o. Ve\u00eda a surfistas agarrar olas gigantes y deseaba hacerlo. Por la ma\u00f1ana marc\u00f3 un tama\u00f1o grande, ya hab\u00eda buenas olas, y con m\u00e1s salida. Despu\u00e9s de las 3 de la tarde creci\u00f3 m\u00e1s, de hecho, hubo un momento que pens\u00e9 que no me iba a meter. El mar se volvi\u00f3 m\u00e1s gigante y eso provoca que sea muy dif\u00edcil de salir de ola. Fue antes de agarrar la ola, porque cuando finalmente fuimos a posicionarnos, estaba un poco indeciso ya que las olas no ten\u00edan mucha salida, me refiero a las grandes, las gigantes. Pero mi amigo me empuj\u00f3 bastante mentalmente, la verdad entr\u00e9 en un momento de miedo, de inseguridad, pero \u00e9l me dijo: \u201cCoco tu viniste hasta ac\u00e1 por esto\u201c. Entonces cambi\u00e9 el chip y una vez que me decid\u00ed, era yo y la ola. Una vez que entras en la ola ya no hay tiempo de pensar, en ese momento estas tratando sortear la ola lo mejor posible, de no caerte y terminarla. Cuando la ola me alcanz\u00f3 y dobl\u00f3 sal\u00ed volando, al caer de pecho el agua me sac\u00f3 el aire. Con el revolc\u00f3n esperaba lo peor, pero sal\u00ed de la ola y tuve un par de segundos para tomar aire. Si vuelve a haber un swell gigante voy a regresar. La adrenalina y el miedo es parte de esto. Y hasta que no est\u00e9 ah\u00ed no sabr\u00e9 si me subir\u00e9 a la ola, porque esas cosas se sienten en el momento.
