En esta zona se localizan 13 Estados, cubriendo una extensi\u00f3n territorial de 1 mill\u00f3n 222 mil 686 km<sup style=\"line-height: 17.75px;\">2<\/sup>, con caracter\u00edsticas naturales, culturales y poblacionales que difieren entre s\u00ed.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: white; color: #606060; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.35em; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Tan solo<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">&nbsp;Chihuahua<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Coahuila<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Durango<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">San Luis Potos\u00ed<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Zacatecas<\/strong>y&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Aguascalientes<\/strong>&nbsp;abarcan una extensi\u00f3n en conjunto, superior a los 700 mil km<sup style=\"line-height: 17.75px;\">2<\/sup>, constituyendo cerca de la tercera parte de la superficie total del pa\u00eds.<br style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\" \/>&nbsp;<br style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\" \/>Adem\u00e1s de&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Baja California<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Baja California Sur<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Sinaloa<\/strong>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Sonora<\/strong>&nbsp;-que comprenden la zona conocida tambi\u00e9n como regi\u00f3n Pac\u00edfico Norte-, con una superficie aproximada de 385 mil 786 km<sup style=\"line-height: 17.75px;\">2<\/sup>.&nbsp;<strong style=\"line-height: 21.2999992370605px;\">Tamaulipas<\/strong>&nbsp;es otra entidad del Norte, situada en lo que se denomina regi\u00f3n del Golfo, con una extensi\u00f3n de 80 mil 249 km<sup style=\"line-height: 17.75px;\">2<\/sup>.
